Asphalt is a combination of bitumen and some mineral components. At times it is referred to as mastic asphalt. There are people who understand it to be a blend of tar, and other minerals that are found in fuels like petroleum. The blend is described as sludgy and quite dense. After finally agreeing with my husband, I am officially a full time homemaker for almost a week now and since I am used to being busy I cannot help but find some things to do in the house. I already rearranged and redecorated our living room and bedroom so I am now planning to do something in our backyard. I read about how easy and convenient it is to assemble outdoor fireplace kits so I am thinking of asking my husband to purchase one. I think that it would be wonderful to have a fireplace outside where we can sit comfortably and enjoy each other’s company while gazing at the beautiful night sky. Instead of going out for drinks to unwind, it would be much more relaxing, not to mention practical, to stay at home if we have this kind of structure. I am confident that my husband will have no objections whatsoever because it is actually a brilliant plan. |

My sister keeps insisting that I buy her home improvement or interior design magazine because she wants to see bathroom tile ideas. I told her that there is no need for the magazine because at this day and age, everything can be found in the internet, so I just promised to help her in researching so that she will have more choices. I no longer asked why she needed it because I am getting used to her constant renovating. She married a man who loves her dearly and has a trust fund so she never has to worry about money. I guess she marvels at this fact that’s why she is spending most of her waking time thinking about shopping, the things that she will buy, and what room she needs to redo next. Sometimes, I wonder how she feels because from my perspective, I think her life is a bit boring because there’s no more challenge as everything comes rather easily. |

The living room is usually the first room you see whenever you enter the house. Like all gracious homes you should make an effort to make the living room as welcoming as possible. Even if you have the simplest décor or humble furniture you can easily create a comfortable ambiance with the right window treatments.
To make the living room look bright and lively during the day, take advantage of the morning sun and allow it to enter the room. Instead of heavy dark curtains use window valances instead. There are houses where you go and you never want to leave because of the way it has been designed, also because of both the interior and exterior decor and also because of how clean he house is. When you enter you now only smell the air re freshener but you also smell the clean air that is round and about. There is this house I entered and I was very impressed by how they had maintained it. The thing that impressed me even more is the way the carpet was clean. My curiosity got the best of me and I asked the owner how she manages to get the carpet so clean and she is always entertaining visitors. She let me in her secret and she said that her carpet cleaners were responsible of the state of her carpet. She said that the cleaners clean the carpet like they cleans tiles and the good thing with this method is that the carpet gets dry in a very short time. And the results are amazing, and she said that that is the best way to clean your carpet especially if you are constantly entertaining guests. |

But it is import ant that everyone try to be able to survive in this world by making ends meet. When we built this house only four years ago, we thought it would be the best layout for our small family of two adults and two teenagers. For the most part, it has been great. We redesigned the upstairs from four bedrooms to three, each with a large walk-in closet. There is a large family bathroom and a very large ensuite. On the main level, however, there is a large kitchen and eat -in area, but a small open area attached to it which has filled vvery quickly with a television unit, computer desk, various electronics and toys. There is barely enough room for a furniture set. There is an attached living room but divided by a bit of a wall. it is enough of a division such that there is a communication barrier between the two. I looked at this bunker as it was being built, and thought at the time that it should come down to allow a big space. Alas, I did not say anything at the time and now I regret it greatly. My husband does not see the problem, as order and tidiness means less to him. However, I feel cramped and hate the cluttered look of the area. Even the garden is rather cluttered - we have two sheds and you'll even see a pop up gazebo there on the warmer days of the year! |
